I wonder how eldest daughters feel every Feast of the Sto. Niño 😂🤭 —
“Teach me to be a child” was my prayer. The readings talked about being “child-like” before the Lord and my goodness! the Sto. Niño knows I don’t know how to stop working, to not take life too seriously, and to stop thinking of problems to solve on my own 😂 I’m sure my Type A Panganays out there can relate!Side note — it’s funny how we have this little community of super similar people to the point where I meet new ladies and as the kwentuhan is happening, someone will always say, “Panganay ka ba? Are you the eldest daughter?” 😂🙋🏻♀️
Our wonderful priest shared very simply
what it means to be child-like:
✨ Innocence
✨ Sincerity
✨ Openness
✨ Trust
To forgive without grudges and to love without conditions…how does that make you feel? Do you feel like you’ve got it in the bag or still have a long way to go?
Oh Jesus, our dear Sto. Niño, take hold of my busy & independent heart and teach me to be a child just like You. So dependent on the Father and so joyful in the arms of your Mama Mary & Papa Joseph 😌 In this littleness, You will show me the majesty of Your Kingdom 🩵
After Mass, I told my younger siblings to confidently ask Sto. Niño for a gift like a child would ask his Papa to get something for him/her 🥰 True enough, my sister received what she had asked for over dinner…
Well, she searched for Acrylic Markers on Lazada which she thought would be really expensive, added to cart for 93 pesos with Free Shipping, and our Papa said YES to the purchase! It was a win!!! 😂 We both said thank you to Sto. Niño 🥰🤭
Do you have a devotion to the Sto. Niño too?
I’d love to know more about it 💌
God bless you 🩵
