Life transitions always come with a banana split of emotions! 🍨
You experience all sorts of happy emotions – excitement, gratitude for what’s been achieved, anticipation for what’s to come, and freedom!!! – until it literally SPLITS your heart in two when uncertainty kicks in. You start to miss people, miss the life you had, and have great fear if you’ve made the right decision 😣
Galing ba ng analogy? 🤭 But for real, if you can relate then Friend, I’m with you!!! 🫱🏼🫲🏽
So much has been happening over the last few weeks with Maria and I Catholic Shop and my whole life in general! Getting this place for myself has opened up the floodgates for expansion but it has also revealed rooms in my heart I didn’t know existed.
Sumabay pa ang life transitions ng mga taong malapit sa puso ko! The people I hold dear! I fear having to navigate this new life, now with far greater obligations, all on my own 🥺
With the many tears I’ve shed and the prayers I’ve said, here’s what I’m learning so far:
✨ Just because you feel afraid doesn’t mean you’re not doing God’s Will for your life ✨
➡️ When I trace back where I am now and how I made the decision, it was obvious that the Father was bringing me to this point; not only for His Glory but also to satisfy the desires of his little girl’s heart 🥹 How good is the Lord! On difficult days, that’s where I draw strength to persevere. He’s making me strong for the road ahead. I need to keep going! By His Grace, I will.
✨ All this is happening in obedience to the Father ✨
➡️ I need not fight for my life to feel the same or for relationship dynamics to remain as they were; no “me & you against the world” here. All I need to do is obey 😌 Everything will change but all will be well because St. Joseph and our dear Mama Mary will be with me, teaching me how to obey, every step of the way 🩵💚
Friend, are you in the midst of a banana split of emotions too? 🍨 I invite you to have ice cream with the Lord. Invite the Holy Family too. It tastes better when shared with the best company 🥰
