I think about St. Joseph often –
how his eyes must have glistened at the sight of little baby Jesus,
how he led his family to Egypt at the command of an angel in the thick of the night to escape a king who’s out to kill his son,
his strength of character and body to embrace this task of protecting the Redeemer of the world,
and his tender yet masculine heart to care for and safeguard the virginity of his beloved, Mary.
The more I meditate on this great saint, the more I stand in awe of the reality that he is my father too!
May this Rosary remind you that by Jesus’ great generosity and union with us [His Church], St. Joseph is as much of your guardian as His! You have a father in Heaven who is always praying on your behalf – bringing to Jesus all your needs and fighting every evil that comes your way.
